Is StoryScrollVideo free?
Yes. The editor does not require a login or payment, and there is no mandatory brand watermark.
Can I export videos longer than one hour?
Yes, up to a four-hour configured total duration if your browser and device can handle it. We recommend using a desktop computer for videos longer than one hour. Recording is performed in real time.
Can I export as MP4?
Only if your browser supports MP4 recording through MediaRecorder. Otherwise a WebM option is available. The editor checks supported formats before exporting.
Can I create a video with no watermark?
Yes. The optional custom watermark starts turned off. You may enable your own text name or logo.
How is estimated file size calculated?
The editor estimates video length multiplied by the chosen target video bitrate plus audio bitrate. Actual file size may differ based on encoder implementation and the content.
Are my stories and recordings uploaded?
No. Your source story, photo and audio files are processed locally by browser JavaScript. External services such as fonts and any future third-party advertisements may still make their own network requests.
Can I use voice-over?
Yes. Upload an audio file or record from your microphone where supported. Voice and background music can be mixed into the video, subject to browser codec support.
Can I resume an interrupted export?
No. Keep the tab and computer awake until it finishes. Saving directly to disk can reduce memory use, but does not currently allow resuming after a browser crash.
