How to use StoryScrollVideo

Create a video without signing up or uploading source media to our servers.

1. Write or paste the text

Open the Text tab, add your story, then adjust the font, text size, alignment, line spacing and margins. Use a UTF-8 Sinhala Unicode input method for Sinhala writing.

2. Choose your scene

In Design, choose a color, gradient or photo background. Adjust image darkness so text is legible. To add your own watermark, enable it first and type a name or upload a transparent PNG or WebP logo.

3. Set scrolling speed and video settings

Choose 16:9 for horizontal videos, 9:16 for Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for social posts. Pick resolution and frame rate, then adjust the single scrolling-speed slider. The estimated duration and file size update automatically.

4. Add a voice-over and music

Upload a narration or use the microphone-recording button (browser microphone permission required). Add multiple music files, which play in order and repeat. Adjust voice and music volume, and optionally enable music ducking.

5. Preview and export

Use the preview player and seek bar. On supported desktop browsers, enable direct-to-disk export to avoid keeping the full file in memory. The export screen shows progress, elapsed time and a remaining-time estimate. Keep the tab open and computer awake until complete.

Supported file formats

Browser video recording depends on installed codecs. MP4 may be offered, otherwise WebM may be used. Common source image and audio files are supported when your browser can decode them.

How to install the ZIP on hosting

Upload the package contents to your hosting root folder (for example public_html), or deploy the ZIP directly to Cloudflare Pages. This is a static website and does not require PHP, Node.js, MySQL or a separate video server.
